In this video I show you how I’ve migrated my business landline telephone numbers to my Android smart phone as Voice Over IP (VOIP) internet phone numbers. Here’s the process:
1. First create a new VOIP telephone number or transfer your present landline number to a VOIP provider such as www.2talk.co.nz
2. Add the new number as a SIP account in your Android phone app on your smart phone
3. Test outgoing and incoming calls. I had to change my SIP port numbers from 5060 to 50600 to get my incoming calls to work.
If your telco has blocked these settings on your Samsung phone, try this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.liebrand.galaxysipsettings&hl=en_NZ&gl=US
